Through a mix of narration and song, Jimmy Wayne shared his transformation from a child in foster care who faced great adversity and pain to an award-winning musician, New York Times bestselling author, and renowned activist for children in foster care. His powerfully emotive account of his difficult childhood in foster care and how the love and consistency of a few individuals changed the course of his life emphasize how important it is for a child to have an advocate and a consistent, caring adult by their side. For many children in foster care, that person is their Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we met our goal of raising $288,000 to provide children in San Diego County foster care with the life-changing advocacy of a CASA volunteer! We could not have done it without you and are so grateful for your support.
