Stephen Moore
Chief Program Officer
Stephen Moore, Chief Program Officer, has been instrumental in the development of the program team since he began with Voices for Children in 2008 as an Advocacy Supervisor, a role which directly supports CASA volunteers. Over the last 13 years, Stephen has assumed various positions within VFC with increasing responsibility. His level of organizational knowledge and understanding of the current foster care and juvenile justice landscape in San Diego County has enabled VFC to continue to refine and adapt our services. Stephen is an important liaison between VFC and the court, dependency judges, dependency legal service providers, San Diego County’s Child Welfare Services, and various community organizations. Stephen has over 20 years’ experience serving our communities youth with high quality programming. Stephen represents VFC on San Diego County’s Child and Family Strengthening Advisory Board, Blue Ribbon Commission, and Dependency and Delinquency Policy Groups. Stephen’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University.
